It is the mind that makes it seem that it's the end. It cannot fathom more than what it knows. It only knows so much.
Our conditioned mind is a realm of its own. However, despite its capacity to expand, it still has its limitations. As an individual, we have our own personal networks and systems which drive our day-to-day intentions and behaviours. This is most commonly termed as our 'ego'.
The ego is an illusory character that we play - initially, based on how our world perceives us. However, these sets of behaviours are limited. Our responses are based on how others perceive us and are not driven by a true sense of self. The ego or the mind (used interchangeably here on) still has a limitation. It is our mind that makes us human.
Being a human means to be an expression of the divine, the universe. As humans, our spirits are limited to a form. However, the more we unlearn all the blocks that are not us, the more we free ourselves and connect with our spirit.
So the next time you feel anxious or petrified of what the unknown future looks like, remind yourself that this is the limit to which your mind knows. And that's fine. The best thing you can do when you are in an unknown place is to just take the next step. The smallest step that brings you toward your vision. :)
