Farewell 2016!

I didn't think I would actually come to a point, where I'd write a farewell to this year. But somehow, the year just took a major U turn and changed my life.

2016 was a year full of lessons. It taught me a lot at every step. There have been bad times, but to even it out, many good times too.
It was the most busiest, stressful, fruitful, hardest, as well as a very peaceful year.
And I'm going to say this again at the end of 2017.
And that's what makes me the happiest! That with each passing year, I have a stronger sense of purpose and more love than I know what to do with.

There's a quote, a motto that I truly stand by - if you're interested in something, go at it at with full speed and passion. Lukewarm is no good =)

And the end of the day, just listen to what you want, and do it no matter what other people say, because at the end of the day, you're all you got. You are your own hero. Your miracle is within you!

I'm not who I was anymore. I am a whole new person - a person who I'd thought I'd never be. I've  fought hard to become her, and I did! <3

To many more such lessons,
Arrivederci 2016 <3

I was right there

I was right there.
As the warmth, that you felt while gulping down your favourite cup of coffee
As the goosebumps on your skin, around when you were cold.
In the sound of your awkward, but really adorable giggles.
In your heart beats, when you were scared.
And in the heave of your breath.

I was always right there,
And I'm so sorry that you couldn't see me, and I couldn't tell you,
that you have been my world.
And will always be.
And as they say we click, and sometimes the timing is just never right,
And no matter how much of it is true,
I'm going to find you in all this chaos, and pull you into the realm of us.
Just us.
And then time won't matter.
Not even a second.

I Hope...

I hope you've been good, and are doing well wherever you are. I miss you. And I just don't say that I miss you nights. I miss you in the day, when I'm busy and supposed to be getting things done. I miss you terribly and I wonder if you miss me at all. If only things didn't change like this. And I wish that I didn't need you so bad, cause your face just won't go away.

I hope that , one day, when we're all grown up and busy in our lives, I chance upon you sitting in a café, on a cold, beautiful December night, and you'll be just as happy to see me, as I was to see you :)
And I hope my smile brings you the kind of warmth that I'd been aching for the years that I spent apart from you.

I hope that one day I'll be able to run to you just like I used to before, and tell you about how beautiful the day is and that I'm going to adopt a hundred puppies, and you chuckle just like you used to, and we lay under the starry night skies sharing a comforting silence between us

I hope. One Day.
Someday. You and I.

That Girl by the Window

So today while travelling by train, I saw a woman standing by the door, at it's edge, and her eyes were red. She had been crying as if her life depended on it.. She just stood there motionless, deep in her thoughts, not really paying attention to the hustle bustle happening around her, as if her world had come to a pause. Soon her station arrived, she quietly left blending into the fast - moving, busy crowd and getting submerged into the world.

I've always felt as though that is the most heartbreaking sight - to see someone sitting by the window and weep as their emotions consume them and get the better of them.
Guess sometimes life gets so bad that one of those moments that is usually so calming and peaceful and beautiful to the soul can also get better of a person, and wreck havoc in someone's feelings and emotions and they have no other option but to let it pour...
... to let it go at a place where no one recognizes them, and they can freely display their raw feelings..
And probably this very thing can bring about that kind of comfort that maybe no one else could provide for them..

Everyone has their own problems to deal with, and their own battles to fight that we'll never know about. A person standing right next to us could be so broken and we wouldn't even know about it.
Guess being nice, kind and understanding is all that we can be..
Maybe this will be the only highlight of their day and this small little ray of happiness could be the reason they want to get through their life.
