I had an incredible revelation last night! Our mind IS our body, and our body IS our mind! It is not segregated as we tend to denote it. All the stories we hold are expressed in our bodies. It speaks through body language, assumptions, behaviours, attachment styles and communication patterns.
Our bodies consist of the blueprint of all of our stories from the past. Our bodies also carry the wisdom of our ancestors and the generations that have gone by. These stories are stored in the form of emotional energy in our nervous system. Our nervous system is a relational system. It helps us to relate our perception with the outside world.
So any time a past incident comes up, our body responds with different sensations. With those that either make us feel good or with those that don't. It is how we relate to those sensations in our body, that we reinforce our roles in the physical world.
To free ourselves from any repetitive behavioural pattern, we must be willing to experience the story, which is felt as body sensations. This is the point of a cycle break.
The objective is to experience the sensation, not get rid of it. At every point that we welcome a story that we generally avoid, we allow the sensation of energetic space to express itself. This expression is then integrated into our energetic body. I realized that when we experience anything with our bodies, we remember. When we experience something from our mind, we forget.
When we ground our minds and emotions in our bodies, our experiences and thought processes shift. We are now led by the wisdom in the body. This inhabitation feels enrapturous, to say the least. To visualize it, something that feels along the lines of Goku powering himself.
Practising this even for a few hours was exhilarating. The body leads with the ancient, soul, and source energy. Within the body anything and everything is possible. Each moment feels trustful and surrendered. The senses feel more heightened, and the movements feel more joyful and purposeful. Our sensuality is the outcome of inhabiting our body space and leading from it. It is led from a place connection, rather than separation. The experiences feel full and wholesome. I am so curious to see where this journey leads
