Pursuing Life as a Body-Based Experience

Our life experiences are body-based. The quality of our life experiences depends on what our nervous system perceives as difficult, easy, fearful, or touched with lightness. It's crucial to move through our frozen phases towards our flow state.

The frozen tension that keeps us from living our fullest selves is wound into our cells; our muscles. This shows up psychologically in our behaviours, actions and attitudes. Once we recognize the traits that keep us stuck in our way, we can learn to move through them.

We don't create abundance. Abundance is always present. We create limitations

A Practice to Move Through Our Limitations:

Tune into yourself, and notice the energy in your body. Simply observe for a while until you feel fully connected to your internal energy as if you are one with it. Notice the flows, the blocks, the stillness and anything that comes up with this observation.

Take a few breaths to prepare yourself to move to the next phase of this practice.

Now, notice the energetic blocks that keep you stuck in your life. Here, we consciously call in the energetic experience that keeps us dwelling on our past suffering.

It could be any kind of lack, stickiness, discomfort, and not feeling good about oneself. When you notice this, you might feel claustrophobic. At this point, remind yourself that this is a body experience. Focus on breathing comfortably for a few more minutes, through the discomfort.

Here, we embrace the specificity of our frozen tension. Rather than escaping the pain, we choose to confront it directly. The choice to experience this is not an easy one. It requires an internal willingness to face the discomfort, pain and loss that accompanies it. In fact, many repressed feelings can also show up. And, honestly, it requires courage to experience this shattering.

Allow everything that comes up - the sadness, grief, remorse, judgements, confusion, the disappointment, without assigning them an elaborate meaning.

The pain can feel inconsolable and torturous. But once the storm of your emotions perishes, frees you from your emotional bondage. From all the limitations that weren't even yours to begin with.
