Centering through Complexity: Embracing Life’s Contradictions, While Staying True to Our Sense of Being

Life is a contrast. You can never know how the beliefs you've held on to can challenge your faith in them. Maybe the whole point of existing here is learning that nothing stays. It's a lesson in letting go, as many times as we need to.

As move through life and practice connecting with others at varying levels, we realize that the truth of all our experiences is real, no matter their unexpectedness and randomness. When our subjective (and visceral) worlds meet others, it is a reminder that their experiences are those that we may never fathom, but simply seek to witness.

Life exists with a range of complexities. Having said this, it is important to attune to your sense of being. Your rootedness emerges from the depth with which you are willing to connect to yourself. This anchor, like a compass, leads us through uncertainty.

When life leads us through these uncertainties, we meet multiple truths, though not our own, still real within their own rights. We may get swayed in these storms and inherit beliefs that aren't a reflection of our core/ source.

Hence it is important to learn to attune with our bodies, as they provide us insights and guidance based on our true selves, our tender longing. At such times, it is also crucial to cultivate a sense of safety in our bodies amid the uncertainty. When we ground with trust, our body follows this instinct. This groundedness keeps you firm and steady while you experience the full spectrum of what life has to offer, without collapsing to any truth that isn't yours to embody.

It allows you to experience and respect the many, many truths of the outside world while honouring your own.

The point of these nuances is to not allow them to break you down. Rather give you space to position yourself back into your true sense of being, once this storm passes. This allows our bodies and minds to stay centred on ourselves while experiencing the full range of what it means to be human.

This practice allows us to not only reflect on objectivity but also makes space to honour, embolden and express our subjective truths. It enables us to fully experience and live out our longing, without diminishing its intensity.

The only way forward is to constantly surrender oneself to these cycles of psychological deaths and rebirths. Each time we let go of something, we make space for something new to take its place.
