Unconscious Blocks and the Imperative to Move Past Them

Unconscious blocks are those congested energies or worn-out narratives that hold us back. These are unconscious because they hide behind the range of our awareness.

Sometimes, these narratives can imperceptibly hold us hostage and drive our daily routine. This is concerning as these worn-out ideals can no longer serve our purpose, and can hinder us from living out our fullest.

The point is to be lightly aware of our day-to-day actions and notice the intention behind each action - whether it stems from a place to sabotage ourselves (or others), or from a place that nurtures repair and (re)connection. Our unconscious blocks will continue to hinder our experiences unless we care enough to be curious about their disrupting patterns.

Unless we learn to face each block willingly, and curiously, it will keep driving our routines, and hold us back from living out our true potential. This is a continued process and a dissolved block will always be replaced by a new limitation.

Each time we face a block we make space to clear out the cluttered narratives. This brings a sense of clarity and direction, with a newfound intention. A different perspective replaces the worn-out one. This is what it means to keep evolving as humans and to keep honing our experiences. It's of service to us, and towards others.

On Creative Expansion

Creativity is expansion. You bring forth to life what initially exists as an inspiration within you.

If we can look at it in this way, our creativity is an act of service - to humanity and the world. Our ideas bring forth an expansion. It births new worlds.

It is natural to experience resistance before a change emerges. Because it requires us to break through the current realm of (collective) consciousness.

Creativity is the emergence of new systems and ideologies; new ways of thinking and being. It invites us to unlearn what we've known so far, so we can re-learn the essence of what is.

There are no rules or limits to creativity. We can simply tap into the energy that inspires us, and align with its expression.

Creativity is the expression of our consciousness. It is undefined. There are no confines to the limits of creative expression. It can take any form.

There are no measures or thresholds to creativity. It's simply moving. Like life, through time and space. From one form to another.

It encompasses care, a nurturing spirit, and a willingness to bare oneself. It inspires vulnerability and a chance to nurture human connections.

Creativity is the base of human evolution and innovation. Where there's an idea, there's an opportunity to enter new worlds and open up to new possibilities.

The Transient Becoming

We are at the point of human existence, where everything is unravelling. Everything we've ever known to be true is loosening its grip on us.

However, this transformation is a painful process. The patterns, cultures and ideals held on so tight, are bound to leave marks of its existence.

In a way, it's also like sweet pain. Although the current generations of varied ages are on the receiving end of dissolving many patterns, the coming generations will be free to express themselves in their authentic light.

It's easy to envision a light like that - free-spirited. However, it's the darkness and moments of difficult confrontation that make way for the light.

However, the light is never devoid of the dark. It always works together. It's what keeps the delicate balance of the cosmic system. Everything that leaves, makes space for something else to replace it. The systems are constantly changing. And as humans, we can't process a pattern for the unknown.

Still, it's nice to take life as it comes and do the best we can. For ourselves, and for the people after us.

Connecting With Ourselves, to Connect with Others

The reason why people are so anxious and are getting ahead of themselves is because they have been following external measures. These external measures are cumulative patterns in the collective conscience that decide whether a person reaches a mark of perfection - whether they deserve something or not.

This means that since the beginning of humanity, we have been attuned to ideals and behaviours that are outside of us - the capacity of our nervous system. No wonder we naturally begin seeking validation and attention for everything we do.

Recently, I have been noticing a surge in individual-centred behaviours. By this, I mean one is constantly validating their own behaviours while dismissing or belittling others. This is a nuanced topic. It's good to know your needs, but it isn't fair to dismiss others'.

Humanity can nurture connections only when we begin accommodating each others' differences. This effect ripples when we begin accepting the contradictory ideas of ourselves.

Once we start becoming aware of our emotional patterns, at a point we need to confront our suppressed selves. These emotions were suppressed at some point because they weren't considered ideal. However, when we shine a light on our shadows, we are no longer in denial. When agree to shine a light on our suppressed self, we are learning to accept their presence. We are no longer dismissive of it.

This acceptance integrates these characteristics back into us, making us whole. Here on we can see the previously dismissed quality as a rightful part of us, and navigate life with this new information. We become protective and respectful towards ourselves.

This is why it's necessary to work with our nervous system. It provides a visceral map of our unconscious behaviours. It makes us aware of them. This teaches us to attune back into it, and our bodies.

Our nervous system is the seat of our presence and accelerates our subconscious mind to ground into our bodies. It teaches us to connect with ourselves, so we can connect with others.

Treading Beyond the Known

There's just one thread of all-encompassing human experiences. All of our supposed ideals are simply compartmentalization and accumulation of different qualities considered virtues. But who attests to the final framework of the ideal?

Each experience is a subjective version of a common universe. When we label experiences as something that makes sense and others that don't, we are segregating our thought processes and the way our world functions.

The ways of the universe are a mystery. Humanity has existed only for a blip, and we have already begun to segregate and stack our experiences as those that are preferable and acceptable over those that aren't. Unfortunately, these qualities are the base over which we weigh the desirability of one another as well.

We are never going to know which card we'll be dealt with. And each experience requires us to unlearn all that we have defined to understand. It requires us to let go of many beliefs that we've held on to so far. And it can be an uncomfortable process.

Every time we respond with an awareness that our version is a subjective experience, we allow other truths to exist in their own right. As humans, the only way we can make sense of the world is by setting up daily (individual and collective) patterns that can keep us safe.

But this comes at a cost. Of differentiating, and competing. That one ideal is better than the other.

When we practise dissolving the compartments we have created in our minds, it gives us a chance to respond in a way that is appropriate to the moment, and not to the ideal. This gives a benefit of doubt to the parties involved, keeping just the appropriate amount of subjectivity in the experience.

It allows us to go beyond what we know, and make space for our subjective truths to be challenged. To venture into new worlds, and create possibilities.

It teaches us humility. That, despite empathy, there are so many truths that rightfully exist, which we might never get to viscerally experience. We can only know of it. And others that we might never.

Unity Consciousness

In my awakening journey, a concept was discussed a lot. That of 'Universal Oneness'. That everything works together. It's all interwoven and interdependent. Nothing is devoid of one another. And that mind creates separation, the idea of 'otherness'.

Something about this made sense, but I couldn't describe it. While I practised getting quieter, I could observe this.

As humans, we are differentiated (separated) through our bodies. Our nervous systems and our individual minds allude to the idea that our subjective realities are etched in stone. It is also built to respond to our present environment. Thus, in our bodies, and as our limited selves, we can experience just that.

Once we take the initiative to understand our emotional and behavioural patterns and the way we relate with others, we begin to observe a larger sense of objectivity in everything we do.

I noticed that every time I observed a pattern and responded with a healthy sense of self, I would usually receive a healthy response in return. Our state of mind is the precursor for all of our intentions and responses (behaviours) that follow.

Each response pattern and self-concept we shift in ourselves is observed in the external world. Like a ripple effect. This is why I firmly believe that in every pattern I heal (shift) within me, I heal (shift) something outside of me.

Hurtful, but something to consider

Our minds, our naive selves, can only correspond to our subjective experience. This subjectivity creates a separation between us and others. It also creates a separation between us and our experiences. It tries to control a circumstance with mind strategies that can sometimes get the better of us. This practice perpetuates anxiety. Because our limited mind only knows our subjective reality. But the truth is that infinite realities exist at once. Something that our minds can't comprehend.

There is a divine control that orchestrates everything in our life - that can sometimes feel disorienting, and sometimes like synchronicities and epiphanies.

When I believed that every little thing contributed to a larger tapestry of momentum, I became accountable for myself. I give myself space to notice my behaviours and respond with empathy and compassion. This allowed me to understand that other people's subjective experiences are visceral, real and valid to them. It also taught me humility, to not fight their realities. For I will never fully understand their real-time experience.

Everything you do ripples and propels outwards in kind. Stay aware. Be responsible. Be accountable. For yourself, and for humanity.
