Little Reminders

I'm not a people's person. But everytime I go outside, the world proves me otherwise. Be it that smile of appreciation of an aunty who wanted to hold my hand while crossing the road, or the kind hearted old, fruit seller who gave me an extra fruit just cause he felt like giving it to me. Or the voice of concern of the bus conductor who's always making sure i alight safely and the smile of the woman at the counter as a token of a hello & thank you. BONUS would be when a toddler looks at me, smiles at me, is so happy to see me and wants to come play with me. These are these little, but significant reminders that the world outside has so much to offer than what the tiny, personal world within me is even able to comprehend. Thank you for re-instilling that faith within me - reminding me to be a little more open to receiving, a little more kinder & compassionate, to smile a lot and most importantly to remind me, myself that i am worthy receiving all of this overwhelming love that this wonderful world has to offer
