The train gradually came to a stop at the station. The platform got crowded with the just departed passengers. The train waited a little longer than the usual. She looked out of her window seat, her eyes wandering for one particular pair of eyes to meet hers. She waited longingly for him to be walking towards the exit so she could see him.
The train jerked and started to leave the platform. The hard line on her face turned into a tiny curve as she knew the time when she saw him again was just seconds away. The train picked up a speed and the platform started moving past her. She stuck her vision outside the train, ignoring a lady asking for her seat.
She saw him. And her tiny curve turned into a bigger smile. He was frantically searching for her, through each compartment. She kept looking at him till he spotted her. When he was just about to vanish, he looked at her, and waved goodbye.
For some reason, she couldn't stop smiling. Never had a day passed by when he didn't stop and wave a bye. This tiny little gesture brought about the biggest smile on her face.
She closed her eyes and let the humid wind blow against her face. The smile just wouldn't disappear easily. In her mind she started creating a timeline of her own. A timeline starting from how she first laid eyes on him and how now he's the only one she could ever love so much. Words can't express how she feels right now, being with him. All the clichéd lines and quotes stated so far that once seemed rubbish to her, they are the same quotes and lines who's meanings she completely agrees with now.
With neither a shooting star or a fallen eyelash, she wishes that he always stays happy being with her and she's always happy with him and that this love for once, is forever.
