Evolving Through Life is a Practice in Meditation

Life is a meditation practice. During meditation, our mind brings in so many of our biased thoughts, that we eventually learn to not take it personally. Rather, allow it to come and go.

Similarly, our life brings circumstances, that we eventually learn are momentous. We can't allow it to affect us. When we have this attitude toward our life, we learn to surrender with trust, rather than control through fear.

Our interpretations of our life's circumstances are similar to the way we observe our thoughts in our meditative practices. Our circumstances weigh based on our narratives or the importance we give them. When we are rigid about our narratives, our lives reflect these dead ends. When we open ourselves to allow the interpretations to reveal themselves, our life can reflect us the possibilities; and the freedom that comes with it.

It all begins with us.

Whenever we feel stuck in life, it is an invitation for us to go deeper within ourselves, and meet it with curiosity and compassion. this gentle probe allows us to be open with ourselves. it teaches us to trust ourselves and to reveal our suppressed and neglected impressions.

When we give ourselves the space to play out the resistance energetically, it opens up channels to connect with our intuitive wisdom.

When we feel safe enough to spill within ourselves, we create safety in our nervous system, allowing us to spill ourselves outwards too. It is easier to be vulnerable, without having to hold ourselves back.

When we discern ourselves from others' perceptions, we create space to be our true, transient and effortlessly adaptable selves. An authentic space nurturing our essence.
