It's Not All that Serious

Life is not that serious you know?

Most of the seriousness emerges from rigid social structures imposed on people as soon as they are born, which manipulate them into believing that there are only select ways of being. These dimensions render you socially successful and emotionally fulfilled. These structures create an illusion of stability in life.

Every time someones reach out to meet a quality set by peers before you, the bar changes. A mountain of 'it should be like this (or that)' is imposed upon them. No wonder their sense of self now feels like they're not enough.

People thrive when they are themselves. When they spill outside the confines they are bound by. When they no longer need to pretend to be someone they are not. The structures deplete them

Everyone is built differently. We are all brought to this world to shine our light in our own way. Not In the ways others want or expect from us. It hinders true authenticity.

The best part is that we can change at any time. We can suddenly decide we like something else more than what we've liked before. All because we weren't open to sharing what we really like, earlier.

You can decide that one thing works for you even better than what worked before. There are so many new things to like, and others to get over - just because we don't connect with it anymore. There's just so much more to experience than these imposed ideals.

There are always new things to do, and new ways of being. Just like nature, transient.
