Everything is fleeting. Each of us has a unique purpose that propels us forward on our paths. Our beliefs that we had once held on to so tight, can no longer serve our next phase. In fact, there comes a point where our long-held beliefs can sabotage us if we don't keep the courage to relieve them from our experience.
Our minds often trick us into thinking that life is stagnant. Yet, when we document our days, we see how much we've changed in a year—or even more so over the past few years. This illusion of constancy arises because our minds are wired to exist in the present moment, making this moment feel eternal and unchanging.
We base our routines around this perceived mundanity, unaware of how easily things can shift. The truth is, there’s nothing permanent to hold onto. The foundations we’ve meticulously constructed, often rooted in fear, can topple at any moment. In our attempts to control what feels uncontrollable, we restrain ourselves in need of stability.
But the quicker we accept life’s inherent impermanence, the sooner we can reconnect with ourselves. By embracing this transience, we allow ourselves to create a life aligned with our inner truths. When we adopt a mindset of adaptability, we train our thoughts to flow with ever-changing circumstances, instead of resisting them.
We can then embrace the fleeting nature of life—not as a limitation but as a gift. For in this constant motion, we find the essence of what it means to truly be alive.
